Who we are
Allie
Allie works in finance for an apparel company. While her days are consumed with excel spreadsheets, she enjoys going to shows in her free time. Her love of Broadway was cultivated at an early age through family trips to NYC, and has strengthened further since being with Jeff.
Jeff
Jeff grew up playing piano and accompanying for shows, solidifying his interest in musical theater. He's grateful to have found a way to combine his passion for Broadway with what he loves most about his day job in private equity.
After investing in several shows, we formed Aleff Productions in 2024 to take on more active producing roles.

Our key criteria for evaluating opportunities are pretty simple:

Passionate about the project
We have to feel a strong connection to the material. It has to be a compelling story that resonates with us; it has to be powerful; it has to be a music score that we want to listen to on repeat. We want to feel differently when we leave the theater than when we came in.
Trust in the team
This is a team sport. We need to trust, believe in, and want to work with the broader team, including the other producers and creatives.
Financial upside
If you can't build a model that works as a business, then it doesn't matter how good the art is. We personally invest in every project we are involved with, and each investment is made with the belief that there is a viable path towards profitability.
Why invest in Broadway?
1 / Love for the arts
Like us, you are passionate about and want to support the arts. You feel a connection to the project and want to be part of the team that helps create it and share it with the world.
2 / Unique experiences
Investors typically get to attend opening night galas and are granted access to house seats. Depending on the show, you might also be able to attend dress rehearsals, or arrange cast meet-and-greets and backstage tours. If there is a perk that is important to you, ask for it!
3 / Financial returns
Fact: investing in Broadway is incredibly risky.
Fact: it is possible to make a profit investing in Broadway.
We are selective about the projects we participate in, and make personal investments in all of them because we believe they have a real path towards recoupment and profitability.
